Sport Attraction Program
For more than a decade, our Sport Attraction Program has helped bring elite sporting opportunities to the Gold Coast. It drives job creation, investment and innovation, and supports the growth of our local sports industry.
Program aims
- Attract and grow elite sport on the Gold Coast – including headquarters, centres of excellence, training camps and events that deliver economic, social and reputational benefits
- Create jobs and boost investment in sport and related industries
- Support local sports businesses and strengthen supply chains
- Deliver long-term outcomes that reflect our city’s priorities and culture

- Relocating sports businesses, national organisations and centres of excellence to the Gold Coast
- Hosting elite training camps, exhibition games and conferences
